DAYS CREEK – Monroe gave up all four runs in the bottom of the sixth in 4-3 nonconference baseball loss on Saturday to Days Creek.
The Dragons (3-1) could not hold their 3-0 lead when Days Creek strung together five singles.
“We kind of gave it away,” Monroe coach Bill Crowson said.
Monroe plays at Oakridge on Tuesday.

UNION – Central Linn scored a pair of runs in the sixth inning but could not quite get over the hump in a 4-3 loss to Weston McEwen at the Union Tournament.
Mikaela Gosney led the Cobras with two hits and two runs scored. Karina Bagg had three RBIs.
Central Linn (2-2) hosts Regis on Tuesday.
